Looking to the Past to Uncover the Future

World Premiere: Introducing The Myth of Superheroes
Modern mythology is a fascinating world where men and women can soar through the sky, control time, and work magic, battling against evil to lead new generations into a better future. On September 21, Comic-Con Museum welcomes The Myth of Superheroes where guests can follow the evolution of the gods and goddesses of ancient Rome into today’s fan favorite heroes: from Hercules to Superman, from the Amazons to Wonder Woman, and from Mercury to Flash.

Makerspace: Unleash Your Creativity
Comic-Con Museum encourages creatives of all ages to explore, design, experiment, and build with hands-on activities and workshops. In addition to drop-in DIY projects like making a mechanical Scribble Bot (a little robot that designs its own artwork!) and assembling a superhero shield out of cardboard, the Makerspace will also have special programming for guests to further experience the headline exhibit The Myth of Superheroes. Happening on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, these activities are free to all Museum attendees.

A Nostalgic Journey at Becoming Betty Boop
Comic-Con Museum, in collaboration with Fleischer Studios, offers visitors the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the glamorous world of the first animated female screen star. The Becoming Betty Boop exhibit invites fans to take a journey back to the 1930s to discover and experience Betty Boop in all forms – from never-before-seen vintage artifacts, dazzling costumes, and classic short films on screen in the Museum’s theater. Exclusive limited-edition Betty Boop merchandise and artwork will also be available for purchase at the Museum Gift Shop.
