Giving the gift of hope to someone who has lost all hope
Operation For HOPE Foundation amplifies the understanding of domestic violence’s impact on families by providing urgent financial aid to empower survivors to escape abuse, heal, and rebuild a safer future. Operation For HOPE Foundation is dedicated to offering resources that enable domestic violence survivors to establish violence-free homes. As we observe Domestic Violence Awareness Month this October, we reflect on the urgent need for awareness and action.
#1 At the heart of the Operation For HOPE Foundation’s mission is a dedicated group of Champions of HOPE Ambassadors, whose compassion and commitment create real change in our community.
#2 Carrie Corless is a vital force within the Operation For HOPE Foundation. With her extensive network and unyielding enthusiasm, she helps drive fundraising efforts. Through her company, ACE Relocation, Carrie generously supports Operation For HOPE Foundation by storing nonprofit items and sponsoring events, ensuring the mission moves forward.
#3 Sue Ebner brings her energy and generosity to every fundraiser. As an avid swimmer and Global GBS Training Manager, her vibrant personality and leadership inspire community involvement, creating a ripple effect of support for survivors.
#4 Lisa Walters-Hoffert is a community connector whose entrepreneurial spirit mobilizes support from local businesses. Her outreach significantly impacts the lives of the individuals and families supported by the HOPE Fund.
#5 Felicia Lyon, a Champion of HOPE Ambassador and Board member, plays a key role in delivering household essentials and emergency financial assistance through the HOPE Fund each year. Her leadership and participation in the fundraiser help provide critical support to survivors, making a significant impact on their lives.
#6 Natalie Quirarte is a passionate advocate for children affected by domestic violence. With over three decades as a certified financial planner, she also supports survivors of human trafficking and ovarian cancer patients. Her “Epiphany Experience,” held annually in September, connects the community to meaningful causes.
#7 Together, the Champions of HOPE Ambassadors and the HOPE Foundation raises awareness, offers essential items to survivors, and provides emergency financial assistance.
#8 Proceeds from the Operation For HOPE Foundation’s 7th Annual Fundraiser, Caring, Sharing, and Champagning, supported the HOPE Fund. Guests met at the Del Sur Target for a one-hour shopping sprint to purchase household necessities for a family and afterwards gathered at a private residence.
#9 Some of the ways The HOPE Fund helps survivors is to pay for: DMV fees & auto repairs, emergency short-term hotel stays, household essentials, divorce filings, emergency transportation and locksmith services.
#10 As we honor those lost to domestic violence, we are reminded that awareness and action can help prevent future tragedies. The HOPE Fund offers a lifeline to survivors, providing immediate support when no other resources are available.
