This special day recognizes and honors the immense contributions of philanthropy that enrich our community. We proudly congratulate all the 2024 NPD honorees and nominees whose dedication uplifts and inspires San Diego. Among the distinguished nominees, we are especially excited to acknowledge Sydney Yang, nominated for Outstanding Student Volunteer, and the Ladies Guild, nominated for Outstanding Volunteer.
Sydney Yang, a remarkable young leader, has shown exceptional commitment through her volunteer work with Father Joe’s Villages. Her tireless efforts in serving meals and providing emotional support to individuals experiencing homelessness embody compassion and kindness. The Ladies Guild, a cornerstone of our organization for over 40 years, contributes more than 10,000 volunteer hours annually. Their impactful fundraising, advocacy, and hands-on service have made a profound difference in countless lives.

For nearly 75 years, Father Joe’s Villages has had the enduring support of a vast community that advances their mission to prevent and end homelessness, enabling them to deliver essential programs that transform lives and foster hope for a brighter future.
