Granting Wishes with Make-A-Wish San Diego

In a recent example of hands-on impact, Wheelhouse employees joined Make-A-Wish San Diego this past May to grant Wish Kid Penelope’s desire for a Sweet 16th birthday party. Volunteers came together to help set up the party and welcome Penelope and her guests aboard the San Diego Bahia Cruise ship, creating an unforgettable memory.
Protecting Our Wheelhouse: Dedication to Environmental Well-Being

Wheelhouse Credit Union proudly sponsored the I Love A Clean San Diego’s Clean Beach Coalition initiative. This critical program placed and maintained 100 waste and recycling bins along the beaches and bays in Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and Mission Bay during the high-traffic Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day holiday weekends. Since its launch, the Clean Beach Coalition has successfully kept an astonishing 3.5 million pounds of trash off the beach and out of the ocean, making Wheelhouse a partner in a massive, measurable environmental success.
