On July 11th join a memorable day at the University of San Diego with gourmet food, wine and fellowship on the USD campus. The USD Wine Classic is a fundraiser for the Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund and has raised more than $1 Million in net proceeds for student scholarships. This is the “can’t miss” event of the summer with live music, friends and good cheer.

San Diego’s ONLY country music pool party is back this summer! Put on your dancing boots, grab your swim trunks and saddle on over to Sycuan Casino Resort for The River. The line-up includes Lily Rose on Thursday, June 18, Ingrid Andres on Thursday, July 23, and Mitchell Tenpenny on Thursday, August 13.

On July 25th, Operation For HOPE Foundation will host the 9th Annual Caring, Sharing & Champagning Fundraiser. Ccome together to support courageous domestic violence survivors and their children. A thoughtful, conversation-style interview will be followed by uplifting entertainment by Kasondra Levin, a beloved vocalist and cherished member of our HOPE family for nine years.

Danitza Villanueva
Danitza Villanueva
Danitza Villanueva was born in San Diego but spent her youth with her family in Tijuana and grew up on both sides of the border. She has transferred her unique insight of cross-border culture, trends and philanthropy to her business and community interests. Danitza is the first woman from her family to graduate from college. She has two degrees, one from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Fashion Marketing, and a second from San Diego Christian College in Communications. After starting GB Magazine with Esteban Villanueva in 2007, she has gone on to win awards and recognition from the community for her support of helping raise millions of dollars for non-profit organizations. Currently she resides in East County in San Diego where she and her husband Esteban run DAESVI Publishing, home to GB Magazine, among several other publications.
