The Journey of Natasha Reiss and Beyond Body Wellness

Share

Nestled in the heart of La Jolla, Beyond Body Wellness is not just a wellness center; it is a reflection of its founder Natasha Reiss’s lifelong pursuit of healing, innovation, and community. With 25 years as an acupuncturist specializing in sports injuries, Natasha’s path to founding this unique wellness hub was deeply personal.

“I have been a competitive swimmer most of my life, and in the last decade, I found myself battling injuries every other year,” Natasha shares. Her own quest for recovery sparked a deep dive into podcasts, research, and exploration of cutting-edge modalities. This passion, paired with serendipitous opportunities like meeting Dr. Guillermo Castillo, the center’s medical director, and finding the perfect location, led Natasha to expand her practice into a multidisciplinary space.

What sets The Beyond Body Wellness apart is its curated assembly of innovative treatments and technologies. From the EmSculpt Neo to the HOCATT and CellGym, each offering is chosen not only for its effectiveness but also for its alignment with Natasha’s philosophy: efficiency, non-invasiveness, and proven results. The center tailors individualized plans for a diverse clientele, whether they are triathletes seeking peak performance, professionals optimizing recovery, or anyone striving to look and feel their best.

Beyond the treatments, Natasha emphasizes a holistic experience. Clients can expect on-time appointments, expert practitioners, and a welcoming environment that inspires healing and growth.

Growing up in La Jolla, Natasha’s connection to the community runs deep. She cherishes the beauty of the ocean, the vibrancy of its people, and the support of the local swimming community. “I grew up here, shop here, eat here, train here, and want to give back,” she says. Her desire to contribute extends beyond providing wellness services; it is about fostering meaningful connections and enhancing the lives of those around her.

The collaborative nature of Beyond Body Wellness also fulfills a long-standing dream for Natasha. For decades, she envisioned working alongside a multidisciplinary team, merging diverse expertise to create synergistic solutions for clients. “I have always been fascinated by taking seemingly unrelated things and finding the bridge between them,” Natasha reflects.

The journey to founding Beyond Body Wellness was not without its challenges. Personal injuries and the disbanding of Team Elite, a professional swim team Natasha worked with, marked a turning point. Yet, these setbacks led her to discover new tools for healing and a renewed sense of purpose. By trying and personally benefiting from each machine now offered at the center, Natasha built a space grounded in firsthand experience and unwavering passion.

At its core, Beyond Body Wellness is about empowering individuals to be the best versions of themselves. For Natasha, this work is not just a profession but a joy – a culmination of her love for learning and creating a space that inspires well-being.

From its state-of-the-art treatments to its deep roots in community, Beyond Body Wellness embodies Natasha’s vision of health: a dynamic, evolving journey of optimizing body and mind, one client at a time.
