Revitalize Together.

The Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation’s revitalization of the Diamond Neighborhoods of Southeastern San Diego reflects founder Joe Jacobs’ philosophy of giving residents shared ownership of community success. The Jacobs Center has transformed 60 acres into The Village at Market Creek, a LEED-certified neighborhood and vibrant cultural destination.

Through its partnerships with national retailers plus the development of a conference center and social enterprises, the nonprofit is building assets that will become economic engines for growth. Add public art and a multimillion-dollar restoration of Chollas Creek and you have another neighborhood hub in the making, just 5 minutes away from downtown.
