An intimate evening of botanical beauty, fabulous food, lively music and bubbly beverages was held at the San Diego Botanic Garden! Guests enjoyed a garden stroll through various food and beverage stations to support our Garden’s growing science, conservation and education programs. Among those in attendance were Sarah Morgan, Jordan Coopersmith, Alex Schaefer, Mark Dowling, John Clements, Janet Kister, Leslie Duval, Debra Hummer, Martha Martin, Tyler Deetgen, Karla Deetgen, Kellie Cassell, Maureen King, Mikala Andrea, Sara Perry, and Will McGregor. The Garden honored Dr. Chory for her decades of pioneering work in plant genetics, her advancement of horticultural sciences, and transformative vision to create plant solutions to climate change.
