President Garrett Galvin of the Franciscan School of Theology invited the community to the Mingei Museum to hear about the vibrant tradition of Franciscan Theology and how students and graduates are both ministering and spreading peace and joy worldwide. Cardinal Robert McElroy joined and gave closing remarks. Additionally, Maureen King, Chairman of the Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park, shared an overview of the museum’s mission and offerings.
The event was attended by a thoughtful group of community members and supporters, including Father Michael Sinor, Coreen Petti , Chris Hulburt, Charlie King, whose presence added to the evening’s spirit of reflection and connection.
