Sycuan Fashion Show
The Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation recently presented the 2023 Sycuan Fashion Show to showcase Native American talents in the field of fashion as part of its 2023 Pow Wow. This 2nd Annual Tribal Fashion Show featured all native designers worn by all native models from across the country and Sycuan Tribal members! Following the theme “Walking in Harmony with Nature”, 16 indigenous designers shared clothing ranging from traditionally inspired to modern business attire with a stylish, native flair. This year’s event was twice as large as last year and even featured a new catwalk that took the models across the resort’s pool!
Recientemente, la Sycuan Band de la Nación Kumeyaay llevó adelante su 2023 Sycuan Fashion Show y como parte de su Pow Wow 2023, se pudieron deleitar con talentosas presentaciones de destacados nativos americanos del área de la moda. Esta segunda edición del Annual Tribal Fashion Show contó con nativos de todo el país, incluso de la tribu Sycuan, modelando los diseños de sus compadres. Luego del tema “Walking in Harmony with Nature”, 16 diseñadores nativo-americanos compartieron sus creaciones que abarcaron desde vestimentas tradicionales a modernos trajes para empresarios con elegante aire nativo. ¡El evento de este año, doblemente importante, necesitó incluir una nueva y más grande pasarela que llevó a los modelos a desfilar por sobre la piscina!
