SDG&E has been working hand in hand with San Diego Audubon Society every spring for over ten years, restoring crucial habitat for the endangered California Least Tern, a small seabird known for its distinctive black cap and white body. Despite challenges from winter rains, SDG&E team members rolled up their sleeves to clear invasive vegetation, ensuring safe spaces for these precious shorebirds. Joining this meaningful effort were Veronica Allende, Shaina Gross, Jason Molina, Alyssa Greene, Aleksandra Chyla, Emad Qudeimat, Keely Fisher, Mintra Bush, Kazeem Omidiji, and Morgan Justice Black, each contributing to the ongoing protection of San Diego’s rich biodiversity.
