Pairings with a Purpose Dinner for Feeding San Diego’s School Pantry

Share

Join in an intimate dinner event at the newly renovated Inn in the heart of Rancho Santa Fe. Philanthropic members of our community are invited to learn more about and support Feeding San Diego’s critical hunger relief programs, specifically the School Pantry Program, which is dedicated to the more than 100,000 local kids and teens experiencing hunger in our county.

With only 120 guests, you will dine in an intimate setting, experiencing dishes crafted by top chefs who are passionate about local, seasonable, and sustainable ingredients. Enjoy the opportunity to participate in live and silent auctions, fun activities, and perfectly paired wine with every course. This exclusive event is not just a dinner – it is a celebration of the power of food to unite and uplift our community.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting Feeding San Diego’s critical School Pantry Program. In the coming year, the organization is embarking on efforts to pull all schools off of the waitlist, bringing the program up to 66 schools (up from 41).

Nearly 50 percent of K-12 students in San Diego County rely on free or reduced-price meals. As such, school pantries offer a much-needed support system for low-income families. This model makes it easy for families to receive food. Typically held twice a month and run by school staff or parents, school pantries use spaces on campus, such as auditoriums or parking lots, to distribute nutritious, healthy food. Parents and members of the community can pick up produce and pantry staples.
