Los Angeles

Share

Sometimes we overlook that we can easily stay in a luxurious hotel, view a screening of a beloved classic film alongside the movie’s stars, and see some of the world’s most astounding artists all in a single weekend.

Head to Los Angeles this month to make some unforgettable memories. Get comfortable during your stay by booking a room at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Every aspect of their hotel exudes elegance from the rooms featuring interior design created by legend Pierre-Yves Rochon and the latest technology to the La Prairie Spa where you can revitalize your mind and body with treatments for your whole body.

There are also many options for a fun-filled day just a short ride or walk away. Film lovers can experience their favorites like never before at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery where you can watch Barbarella, The Outsiders, Big, or 8th Annual Slumber Party under the stars.

If musical performances are your preference for a night out, there is no better place to see Bon Iver & TU Dance, Randy Newman, or the exceptional sounds of Tchaikovsky accompanied by fireworks than at the Hollywood Bowl. You can also pair these two passions by catching their concerts of Star Wars or The Pink Panther, or attend the Grease 40th Anniversary at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater. Enjoy the musical in the best way possible with a cast and crew reunion.

Speaking of iconic, The J. Paul Getty Museum is featuring the Icons of Style: A Century of Fashion Photography exhibition allowing you to dive into the history of modern fashion photography from 1911-2011. Find the perfect outfit, or three, for your weekend adventures by taking advantage of extended shopping hours throughout Beverly Hills.

All that our northern neighbors have to offer including the arts, luxury and entertainment makes for a perfect ESCAPADITA.
