The San Diego Air & Space Museum celebrated the historic 55th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing with a dinner and program. On July 20, 1969, the world watched in awe as Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took humanity’s first steps on the lunar surface, while Michael Collins orbited above. Guests had the opportunity to meet America’s Heroes Buzz Aldrin and Gerry Griffin in-person. All proceeds from the event go towards updating and enhancing future museum experiences.
