EXPANDING HEALTHCARE ACCESS ACROSS SAN DIEGO – TOGETHER

Share

At San Ysidro Health, we believe that access to healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, we are able to bring critical medical, dental, and behavioral health services closer to the people who need them most. This year, with an expanding presence in southeastern San Diego, Julian, National City, and enhanced specialty care in Chula Vista, we are more dedicated than ever to providing care for all.

San Ysidro Health

Our impact is clear: in the past year, we have cared for 161,840 lives, from the youngest members of our community to our elders. Among those in our care, 37,504 were pediatric patients (ages 0-17), and 38,138 were senior patients (ages 55+). We are able to reach these individuals thanks to the strength of our 3,000 mission-driven healthcare providers and professionals, each working tirelessly to make healthcare accessible and compassionate for all and through the support of our supporters and community partners.

Since opening our doors in 1969, San Ysidro Health has been much more than a healthcare provider. We are a partner in wellness, an advocate for families, and a source of hope for those facing healthcare barriers. From our humble beginnings as a single clinic, we have grown to become one of San Diego’s largest nonprofit healthcare providers, rooted in the belief that health equity is within reach. By delivering comprehensive, expert care, we aim to empower every community we serve.

2024 NPY Seal

This year, we were honored to be recognized as one of California’s Nonprofits of the Year by Assemblymember David Alvarez – a meaningful acknowledgment of our efforts to make a positive impact on lives throughout the county. We are also proud to hold Candid’s Platinum Seal of Transparency, affirming our commitment to integrity, openness, and accountability. Our supporters can trust that every donation, every partnership, and every volunteer hour is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.Platinum Seal of Transparency 2024 SMALL
