Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is built in the traditional Arts & Crafts style and is complete with its own entrance directly to Disney California Adventure Park offering guests the opportunity to enter the parks early with the Extra Magic Hour. The recently renovated rooms are spacious offering the latest technology and appointed with premium amenities. The spacious lobby incorporates elements of nature offering comfortable seating and piano entertainment next to the year-round fireplace. The renovation brings an even more upscale experience to the hotel, while staying true to its signature design style providing a relaxing stay.
As a Club-Level Guest, we were greeted at the Valet by our own personal concierge who took us directly to our room for a private check-in. Staying in a Club-Level room gave us our own concierge team as well as access to The Veranda, a concierge lounge that offers complimentary snacks and refreshments in a sophisticated space with a perfect view of the evening fireworks.

Napa Rose
Open only for dinner and under the direction of Award-Winning Chef Andrew Sutton, the Napa Rose seasonally changing menu offers California’s freshest ingredients in craftsman décor inspired by the natural beauty of the Golden State. As a starter we enjoyed Diver Scallop and Blue Shrimp, main course of Portobello Mushroom and Burrata Cheese Canneloni and Grilled Creekstone Farms Prime New York Steak finishing the meal with Dulce de Leche Cheese Cake. A unique offering is the Chef’s Table or Dessert Counter with two seating’s nightly offering personal interaction with the chef as they create personalized meals with wine pairings, choosing from the over 1,000 wines on their wine list.
After an amazing meal, we reentered California Adventure to enjoy World of Color the nighttime extravaganza featuring music, pyrotechnics, video projected on water screens, lasers and many more effects in our own reserved seating area.

VIP Tour
The following morning, waking up rested and rejuvenated, we were greeted by our VIP host in the lobby of the Grand Californian. Our personal tour guide David listened to our interests, asked some insightful questions and was able to plan an entire day of customized experiences specifically tailored to us. We set off into the park where he explained the history of the park, its rides and some of the exciting things that awaited us. Arriving at an attraction, this tour allowed us expedited access as we bypassed the queue and immediately enjoyed the experience. This benefit of the VIP Tour guaranteed us the most that Disneyland can offer in the least amount of time. As we were whisked through the park visiting all our favorites, we stopped at various Character Greetings including Mickey Mouse and Darth Vader for a personal and private interaction. With reserved seating, we had VIP viewing for World of Color, Fantasmic! and parades throughout both Disneyland and California Adventure allowing us to experience the entire park in a flawless and effortless manner.
