We were invited by Disneyland Resort to the kick-off celebration that premiered a variety of experiences that are touching every corner of both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, from intimate moments to multimedia spectaculars. With special appearances and performances with The Jonas Brothers, The Muppets, Boyz II Men, Miguel and Dante from Coco, Fitz and the Tantrums and more, the celebration has become the biggest birthday party ever!
Celebrate Happy Cavalcade is a new character parade that is an energetic and contemporary celebration of seven decades of happiness. Fan favorites Duffy and ShellieMay are making the Disneyland debut.
Similarly, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! is a daytime parade in California Adventure with heartwarming stories from beloved Pixar films, celebrating friendship and beyond.
An all-new live show Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live is created for young children but will be enjoyed by all due to its original songs!
As the sun began to set, we enjoyed more than 70 new menu items ranging from snacks to full meals, from futuristic treats to dishes that are a nod to Disneyland’s past.
After sunset, the lights begin to glow and the shows come alive. Tapestry of Happiness is a new presentation on the façade of It’s a Small World using projections, light, and music for an emotional and visually stunning love letter to Disneyland, bringing all of us together through memories.
World of Color Happiness is the newest nighttime spectacular featuring Disney, Pixar animation, appearances from the Muppets. Using ingenious water screens, projections lighting and lasers, there is nothing like it.
Paint the Night is a nighttime spectacular parade with musical and visual nods to the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade, thrust into a new dimension with more than one million LED lights! Mickey Mouse uses his vivid imagination to harness the power of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust and “Paint the Night” in Disney dreams.
Wondrous Journeys uses Disney artistry, music, storytelling and heart to weave together an inspiring message highlighted with projections and fireworks touching the hearts of Disney fans young and old.
