Explore Cars Land at Disney California Adventure

Share

Disneyland recently celebrated the newest and largest expansion in their recent history with the premiere of Cars Land. This momentous occasion was accompanied by a party that only Disney could throw, a Red Carpet, celebrities, food, fireworks and the opportunity to be the first people to experience the amazing new rides, restaurants and shops.

This new addition to Disney California Adventure recreates the picturesque town of Radiator Springs made famous in the Disney Pixar film Cars. Every detail from the movies brought to life in perfect detail- scenery, buildings and characters.

Included are three new rides including Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, a kitschy and catchy musical ride and Radiator Springs Racers, the largest ride in Disneyland that is an absolute masterpiece blending technology, art and a heavy dose of that Disney magic.

You experience the movie in the dark ride portion, and then head out to the track where you race the other riders in a side-by-side race through the awe-inspiring Ornament Valley. Best experienced at night, this is one of the most beautiful and immersive experiences Disney has ever created.

The rest of Cars Land is full of themed shops, restaurants and details that keep perfectly with the theme of Route 66 including the Cozy Cone Motel that recreates famous roadside motels of a bygone era and Flo’s V8 Café looks like a curbside diner straight out of America’s historic car culture. Every detail is perfect.

Whether you are Disney fanatic or a first time visitor, the overall experience is mesmerizing and a perfect ESCAPADITA.
