Binational Health
Binational Health Week is a mobilization of efforts by community organizations to improve the health and well-being of the cross-border community. Consul General of Mexico Carlos Gonzalez Gutierrez and the Secretary of Health Xavier Becerra presented an overview of the impact on the Latino community health needs and issues of most concern. Champions for Health played an integral part of supporting the vision of a healthy border community.
La Semana Binacional de la Salud (Binational Health Week) es una movilización de esfuerzos por parte de organizaciones comunitarias, buscando mejorar el bienestar de la comunidad fronteriza. El Cónsul general de México, Carlos González Gutierrez, junto al secretario de salud, Xavier Becerra, presentaron un resumen del impacto en las necesidades de salud de la comunidad latina sumado a temas que les preocupan. Champions for Health ocupó un rol integral aportando una visión sobre la salud de la comunidad fronteriza.
