Curebound’s largest and highest fundraising Padres Pedal team surrounded a local family with love and support for their 18-year-old daughter undergoing cancer treatment. Bill’s Angels is a team of 150 San Diego women coming together to raise awareness and funds for cancer research and has raised nearly $2.5 million over the last ten years, which has funded 20 early-phase cancer research projects in San Diego. Attendees at the event included Lani Freymiller, Michelle Dastyck, Amy Koman, Joy Auerbach, Juliann Ford, Juliet Markstein, Kelly Billmeyer, Katie Culp, Anna Spalding, Anne Marbarger, Anne Daigle, Andrew Schorr, Sydney Holland, Janet McCulley, Deb Cipriano, Leane Cole, Sheiva Brunst, Tammy Rooke, Cheryl Naumann, and Stacey Pennington. Andrew and Esther Schorr (Andrew is a 2x cancer survivor) also shared their experiences and gratitude for the life-saving treatment that was developed here in San Diego.
