On May 17th, the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad will set the stage for North Coast Repertory Theatre’s annual Spotlight Gala, All That Glitters: An Evening with Broadway Divas! This highly anticipated event, co-chaired by longtime supporters of the arts and dedicated philanthropists, Jamie Carr and Dori Patterson, will be a night of artistic celebration, raising funds to support North Coast Rep’s artists and educational programming.
Devoted to making a difference, Jamie Carr brings an impressive philanthropic legacy to her role as co-chair. With a passion for social causes, she has spent years supporting underserved communities. Additionally, Jamie has been a strong advocate for animal welfare, supporting programs that provide medical care to the pets of individuals experiencing homelessness. She embraces every opportunity to uplift those in need and is honored to play a part in curating an evening that celebrates and advances North Coast Rep’s mission.
Dori Patterson’s dedication to North Coast Rep is longstanding and deeply personal. A steadfast advocate for the theatre, she has chaired and served on numerous Gala committees over the years. She and her husband, Jeff, have proudly supported North Coast Rep since 2000, and their son, James, refined his craft at the Theatre School @ North Coast Rep before embarking on a successful career in Esports broadcasting. She balances her philanthropic efforts with a love for Jazzercise and choral singing with Sorelle, a North County women’s choir. Her unwavering passion for the arts and community engagement makes her an inspiring leader in the arts.
The All That Glitters Gala will offer a dazzling, one-night-only performance by three extraordinary Broadway artists – Ashley Blanchet, Sara Jean Ford, and Angela Ingersoll – bringing the magic and vibrancy of New York to San Diego. Their captivating vocals and stage presence will transport guests through some of Broadway’s most iconic songs, paying tribute to the power and beauty of live theatre. Guests will also enjoy a cocktail hour followed by an elegant dinner, live and silent auctions, and the opportunity to don their most glamorous attire for an unforgettable evening in support of the arts.
