Curebound unites San Diego’s top research institutions in a collaborative effort to accelerate cancer research into cures. Founded upon a deeply held belief that cures are possible, Curebound’s unique platform and funding model fosters collaboration and cooperation, bringing the best minds together to take on cancer’s greatest challenges. With over $23 million already invested in research, Curebound has awarded 90 diverse research grants and clinical trials to explore all types of adult and pediatric cancers.

United We Cure: A Community in Action
Curebound’s year-round annual events aim to bring all of San Diego’s diverse communities together to fight cancer and save lives. Next up is Curebound’s flagship event, Padres Pedal the Cause on March 18th at Petco Park followed by the Concert for Cures in the fall.

Padres Pedal the Cause
Join Curebound and the San Diego Padres in a challenge to end cancer. Padres Pedal the Cause celebrates 10 Years of Impact, bringing together thousands of participants to raise funds for cancer research through cycling courses, spin classes and a 5K walk/run. Options for all ages and abilities. 100% of every dollar raised funds life-saving cancer research in San Diego.

Curebound Concert for Cures
On November 4th, 2022, the Curebound community came together to raise over $3.1 million for cancer research at the inaugural benefit Concert for Cures. In a spectacular collaboration with the San Diego Symphony, 15-time Grammy award winner Alicia Keys headlined the evening, giving an extraordinary performance and sharing heartfelt support for Curebound’s mission. Seeing the community come together with such incredible purpose and energy amidst the beauty of the Rady Shell is an experience none will soon forget. 2023 concert date and headliner announcement coming soon!
