A Look Back to the Future: 1980s Gala at Fleet Science Center
Cocktails, dinner, live auction, dancing, and house party vibes were all part of the celebration at the Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park. Guests embarked on a journey to the 1980s when science fiction took center stage in entertainment, imagining a neon and metallic future of space travel, robots, and artificial intelligence and when scientists and engineers laid the foundation for today’s coolest technologies. All proceeds from the event support the Fleet’s many education programs and community efforts. Great Scott!
