Share

The 114th Anniversary Charity Ball was an absolute and resounding success. Chairman Danitza Villanueva and the Charity Ball Committee raised an astounding and record breaking $2.6 Million that will support the Chadwick Center for Children and Families. Danitza was the first Latina Chairman in the Ball’s history and took the opportunity to share touches of Latin culture including the entertainment, décor and dessert room full of Mexican sweets and candies was one of the surprises of the event. The event honored Papa Doug and Lisa Manchester and the Manchester Family Foundation for their unending contributions to the children of our community. This time-honored tradition has been supported by San Diego families for generations and this year, many new faces joined in the celebrations that will celebrate together for years to come.
