The Unicorn Foundation and the Humane Society of the United States welcomed guests to the Spreckels Theatre for a special presentation of Wayne Pacelle’s new book, The Bond: Our Kinship with Animals, Our Call to Defend Them. Board member Jerry Cesak along with fellow animal advocate and actress Wendie Malick celebrated animals and the people who care about them in this lively presentation. Theatrics added fun to the evening that featured recent victories in animal protection.
