Over 400 community leaders, philanthropists, and advocates joined Deacon Jim Vargas, President and CEO of Father Joe’s Villages San Diego alongside Gala Chairs Drs. Attendees, including Rachel Crawford, Karla Morey, Kristen Kremers, Susan Francia, Ryan Amos, Don Fellows, Victoria Winters, Joe Ergastolo, and John LaRaia, celebrated the theme of being a “Beacon of Hope” and helped raise over $1.4 million to support the nonprofit’s programs that keep families together and prevent children from falling into homelessness.

The night of the gala, Qualcomm Foundation made an additional $1 million commitment to Father Joe’s Villages. This milestone investment will support services offered at Father Joe’s Villages broadly, including housing and shelter as well as medical and social care.
