The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia – by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care, advocacy and support. As the top non-profit funder of Alzheimer’s research, the Alzheimer’s Association increases the number of scientific breakthroughs while connecting experts worldwide. The Alzheimer’s Association also guides public policy efforts to secure funding and advance legislation for better care and treatment. Paul Stephen Aisen MD is the founding Director of the Alzheimer’s Therapeutic Research Institute of USC Keck School of Medicine (ATRI). ATRI is the Alzheimer’s Association’s 2025 “Visionary Award” honoree, presented to an individual, company or organization with remarkable foresight and dedication to improve the lives of those with dementia, their caregivers, and loved ones.

#9 Paul Stephen Aisen MD have committed entire adult life to clinical care and medical research. For the past 35 years I have worked exclusively to establish rigorous diagnostics and treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease and the related dementias. The Alzheimer’s Association is a leading advocacy organization for people with the disease and their families, but the organization is also a very important partner for the research community. We all need to work together to help our stakeholders receive accurate, helpful information.
#10 Funds raised at the Brilliance Gala will fund local programs and services and important research to find treatments and a cure. The Alzheimer’s Association currently funds $18 million at San Diego-based research institutions. Together, we are making an impact. Together, we will #ENDALZ.
