Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla reopened in April after a four-year renovation. Recently, the Museum hosted The Gala @ MCASD, a fundraising benefit at the expanded La Jolla campus and co-chaired by Board Members Marcos Ramírez ERRE and Dagmar Smek. The Gala @ MCASD celebrated the special exhibition which takes inspiration from the pivotal Alexis Smith exhibition, the first retrospective of the California artist in over thirty years. The guests were a very glamorous bunch with stylish and luxurious outfits fit for the first gala at this world-class museum. Among those in attendance were Pietro La Greca, Stuart Posnock, Carmela Koenig, Jack McGrory, Larry Hershfield, Ivor Royston, Kathryn Kanjo, Pradeep Khosla, Arman Oruc, Karla Centeno, Adela Koenig, Maryanne Pfister, Marina Grize, Vidi Revelli, Iris Strauss, Irwin Jacobs, Joan Jacobs, Nancy Browar, Ryan Herrell, and many more who showed their support in style.
