Go Red for Women
The American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, Go Red for Women empowers women to unite around a common goal – ending cardiovascular disease, which is the leading cause of death among women. The movement harnesses the energy, passion and power women have to participate in research and advocacy initiatives and advance public health policy. The luncheon will take place on February 24 at the US Grant.
San Diego Jewish Film Festival
Presented by the San Diego Center for Jewish Culture, the San Diego International Jewish Film Festival is returning for its 33rd year and will be held February 15-26. New to the festival experience this year will be the Preview Day on January 29 where guests can see trailers from the festival films.

The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci
In ‘The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci,’ Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman brings the writings of the famed painter, inventor, theorist, and sculptor to life. Theatregoers will go on a journey through da Vinci’s mind as he explores concepts related to mathematics, anatomy, engineering, philosophy, love and the human spirit. The show runs from January 21 -February 26 at Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage, Old Globe Theatre, and Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Disney100
Disney 100 Years of Wonder will be the largest cross-company global celebration in the 100-year history of The Walt Disney Company. All parks worldwide will celebrate, but the celebration kicks off in Anaheim at Disneyland Resort. Sleeping Beauty Castle will be dressed in style for the anniversary. World of Color – One will celebrate the storytelling legacy started by Walt Disney. “Wondrous Journeys,” a new nighttime spectacular that will ignite the wonder in all of us. And, the new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction will open! This yearlong celebration runs January 27 – 2023.
