Frosted by the Sea
Celebrate a holiday season Frosted by the Sea as America’s beachfront legend transforms into a dazzling winter wonderland from November 17 to January 1. The iconic resort shimmers and shines as its signature red turrets are draped in thousands of sparkling lights with towering Christmas trees, snowy surprises and garlands galore filling the property with holiday cheer.
The 29th Annual Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County’s Gingerbread City, San Diego’s premier holiday philanthropic event and nationally recognized gingerbread competition will take place at The Natural History Museum on December 7th. With your help, The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County leads the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures and save lives.
Parade of Lights
Enjoy the twinkling waters of the San Diego Bay and various private boats decorated with holiday lights for the annual Port of San Diego Bay Parade of Lights on December 11th & 18th. There are various locations to enjoy the views from with your loved ones such as Shelter Island, Harbor Island, the Embarcadero, Seaport Village, and Coronado’s Ferry Landing.
Santa’s Running Through Town
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s hundreds of San Diegans participating in the notorious San Diego Santa Run 5k and 1 Mile Race. The race benefiting Pacific Beach has options for experienced runners, those who just want to do it for fun, and four-legged friends too, so it is a perfect way to spend your Saturday, on December 10th.
