The Gala at MCASD
The Gala at MCASD was chaired by Board Member Ryan Herrell along with his wife, CEO of Schubach Aviation Kimberly Herrell. The evening featured an exquisite gala dinner celebrating the ineffable essence of joie de vivre and the impact of art in all our lives. The evening also welcomed Los Angeles-based artist Kelly Akashi whose first solo exhibition, Kelly Akashi: Formations, will be on view at MCASD later this fall. The Gala took inspiration from this body of work, encompassing a selection of artworks made over the past decade. After the sunset, the After Party took the gala to another level with live music, dancing, specialty cocktails and indulgent late-night snacks.
La Gala de MCASD tuvo a Ryan Herrell, miembro de la comisión directiva, y su esposa Kimberley Herrell, CEO de Schubach Aviation, como anfitriones el evento. Esta inolvidable gala contó con una exquisita cena donde se celebró la inefable joie de vivre y el impacto que el arte tiene en nuestras vidas. Durante este evento también se dio la bienvenida a la artista con base en Los Angeles, Kelly Akashi, quien realizará la exhibición personal en el MCASD durante el otoño: Formations. La gala inspirada en este trabajo incluyó una serie de obras de arte realizadas durante su última década. Luego del atardecer, el After Party llevó la velada a otro nivel, con música en vivo, baile, cócteles especiales y tentempiés para continuar la noche.
