SDG&E has been working hand in hand with San Diego Audubon Society every spring for over ten years, restoring crucial habitat for the endangered California Least Tern, a small seabird known for its distinctive black cap and white body. Despite challenges from winter rains, SDG&E team members rolled up their sleeves to clear the invasive vegetation, ensuring safe spaces for these precious shorebirds. Together they are continuing to protect San Diego’s rich biodiversity.
