Burnham Center for Community Advancement
Burnham Center for Community Advancement is a new organization built by Malin Burnham. Malin Burnham and Jose Galicot hosted a binational conversation and celebration featuring author Michael S. Malone and the launch of his book El Tercer Pais. This event is an important conversation about creating cross-border binational partnerships and leveraging our border to create opportunities. There was a robust conversation surrounding the World Design Capital 2024 designation for San Diego + Tijuana and how we make the most of the opportunity, as well as the Otay Mesa East Port of Entry, El Chaparral and other notable binational efforts for our region.
Burnham Center for Community Advancement es una nueva organización creada por Malin Burnham. Malin Burnham y José Galicot fueron los anfitriones de la entrevista y celebración de la presentación del autor Michael S. Malone y el lanzamiento de su libro El Tercer País. Este evento ofrece un importante diálogo sobre la creación de asociaciones binacionales y del aprovechamiento de nuestra frontera para también crear nuevas oportunidades. Existió un importante debate en torno al nombramiento de San Diego y Tijuana como Capital Mundial del Diseño 2024, sobre cómo lograr el mayor provecho de la ocasión, como también del acceso de Otay Mesa East Port of Entry, El Chaparral y otros importantes esfuerzos binacionales de nuestra región.
