Families in Need
South Bay Community Services has increased its distributions of healthy food for families in need to 12 times a month at sites throughout Chula Vista. Over the last four months, nearly 19,000 families have driven through to receive bags of healthy food at school sites where distributions are hosted. SBCS staff and volunteers assemble and pass out the support packages in addition to covering other important logistics of the process.
South Bay Community Services ha aumentado 12 veces la cantidad de alimentos saludables distribuidos entre las familias necesitadas de Chula Vista. Durante los últimos cuatro meses, casi 19,000 familias se han acercado para recibir bolsones de alimentos saludables distribuidos en ciertas escuelas donde se realiza la entrega. El equipo de SBCS y voluntarios, reunieron y entregaron los paquetes de apoyo y también cubrieron otras importantes necesidades logísticas de este sistema de ayuda.
