Dignity Grows
Jewish Federation of San Diego County hosted an important conversation with the topic of Jewish poverty in San Diego, featuring a panel discussion with members of the Poverty Working Group. One of the ways they are working together to reduce poverty, in particular that of hygiene poverty in the community, is by launching a local chapter of Dignity Grows. This event culminated a packing party to assemble tote bags that will go to local partners for distribution to neighbors in need.
Jewish Federation del condado de San Diego llevó adelante una importante charla sobre el tema de la pobreza judía en San Diego, con la presencia de un panel constituido por miembros del Poverty Working Group. Una de las maneras de trabajar en conjunto para reducir la pobreza es sobre la higiene en la comunidad pobre y la sucursal local lanzó el programa Dignity Grows. Este evento culminó con una fiesta donde se armaron bolsas de compras destinadas a los socios locales para ser distribuidas entre los vecinos de la comunidad.
