Boots & Blooms
The 22nd Anniversary Boots and Blooms Party celebrated all the work the San Diego River Park Foundation have accomplished together for the San Diego River ecosystem. The event was a success, and everyone enjoyed a beautiful evening of mingling, jazz tunes, food, an awards ceremony, and a silent auction all on the banks of the San Diego River at the site of their future River Center at Grant Park. California Assemblyman Chris Ward presented a $2.5 million check for the new center to the delight and cheers of all!
El 22° aniversario de la fiesta Boots and Blooms fue un homenaje al trabajo realizado por San Diego Park Foundation y los logros conjuntos a favor del ecosistema del San Diego River. El exitoso evento fue una ocasión para reunirse, escuchar jazz, disfrutar de buena comida, de una ceremonia de premiación y de una subasta silenciosa a orillas del San Diego River, en el futuro espacio que ocupará el River Center en el Grant Park. Con grandes aplausos de los presentes, el miembro de la Asamblea de California, Chris Ward entregó un cheque por $2.5 millones destinados al nuevo centro.
