Be the Light
Shelter to Soldier adopts dogs from local shelters and rescue organizations and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress. Shelter to Soldier recently hosted the Be the Light Gala to raise critical funds to support the rescue dogs and veterans served by the program’s mission. Guests and many canine companions enjoyed a wonderful evening together.
