A Walk in the Park
Balboa Park is home to 17 museums and cultural institutions set in beautiful gardens – all in the heart of San Diego. From local San Diego history, flight, automobiles, and the arts, crafts- Balboa Park is a cultural treasure. The community came together to take in all the beauty the museums and the parks have to offer in the days before social distancing brought about some changes. On Pi Day, not only we did we celebrate at the Fleet Science Center, but San Diego Air & Space Museum, San Diego Automotive Museum, San Diego History Center, Mingei (and its current revitalization) and San Diego Model Railroad Museum as well. We are all looking forward to returning to our museum soon!
El Parque Balboa es el hogar de 17 museos e instituciones culturales que se encuentran emplazadas entre majestuosos jardines en el corazón de San Diego. Desde historia local de San Diego, vuelos, automóviles hasta las artes y artesanías, el Parque Balboa es un tesoro cultural. La comunidad se reunió para poder apreciar toda la belleza de los museos y los parques justo antes de que se hiciera efectivo el distanciamiento social y sus consecuencias. En el Pi Day no solo festejamos al Fleet Science Center, sino también al San Diego Air & Space Museum, San Diego Automotive Museum, San Diego History Center, Mingei (y sus revitalizaciones actuales) y el San Diego Model Railroad Museum. ¡Todos estamos a la espera de poder regresar prontamente a nuestros museos!
