Celebrate! This very special time of the year is filled with good cheer with The Old Globe Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 15. This fun family event features a special live performance by members of the Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas cast and a delightful holiday snowfall on the Globe Plaza. Celebrate the holidays as the Old Globe Theatre is once again transformed into the snow-covered Whoville, right down to the last can of Who-hash.
Give! The Headquarters at Seaport Village will host a red, white and blue “giving tree” in their courtyard to honor our military and their families. Patrons and visitors will have the opportunity to select a family-specific heart-shaped ornament from the tree and donate money to help that military family’s holiday wishes come true.
Sing! Laura Pausini, Juan Gabriel, Ricky Martin need we say more? Three of the greatest Latin singers will be performing individually throughout Tijuana and Ensenada. Amongst the wineries of Baja on November 2, Ricky Martin is set to perform and on November 14, Laura Pausini will present her greatest hits underneath the Tijuana stars. After 40 years of making music, selling millions of records and performing for all over the world, Juan Gabriel will celebrate with a concert in Tijuana.
