Walter Green’s father died when he was a teenager and it left an indelible impression on him that life is short, precious, and unpredictable. Relationships throughout his life have been a central theme for him spending many years facilitating executive groups where the full range of key life issues was the focus. His readings also had him challenge the wisdom of why one waits until either their health is compromised to reach out to important relationships or worse yet, deliver a eulogy to express their regard and gratitude to those that have mattered.

Walter decided this IS the moment, for it was never too early to express his profound appreciation for those who had impacted his life. That is when Walter began his year-long journey to seek those people out and share his gratitude with them. The book “Capturing the Power of Gratitude” is the story of his travels throughout the United States and abroad to visit 44 of the people that made a difference in his life. “Capturing the Power of Gratitude” will enrich your relationships with the people that have made a difference in your life . . . and will provide you with amazing insights into your own life as well.

After selling his company, Walter now mentors young adults and is actively involved in several nonprofit organizations. He lives with his wife, Lola, in Rancho Santa Fe and Palm Desert.
