Everyone in the family, young and old, will enjoy the free Summer Sundays events in July at Village Walk in Eastlake. This enchanting Village, unlike anything else in San Diego, features inviting outdoor spaces where guests linger, relax and enjoy the shopping center’s unique lifestyle ambiance. Follow winding walking paths to the grand clock tower, past inviting gardens to a hand-carved stone fountain, a pond filled with koi and turtles to the delightful kids’ sandbox area. Over thirty different shops and boutiques cater to your every need.
Summer Sundays features performances from top bands, vintage car displays, non-stop children’s fun with balloon sculptures, face painting and craft activities. Enjoy free food samples from Village Walk restaurants including The Brigantine, Pho Hiep & Grill Château and Via Lago Trattoria by Busalacchi. Also making the experience fun for the whole family are bands such as Joe Rathburn’s Island on Sunday, July 10 performing the band’s signature tropical rock music which combines country, rock, reggae and calypso. Guests can enjoy the car club members’ unique collection of 1950’s Ford pickups and panel trucks and children can get ready for school early by decorating Star Student pencil bags. On July 17 the exciting Uncle Bob and The Earthmovers featuring Lady J will perform during the two hour Summer Sunday’s event from 5 to 7 p.m. playing their blues sounds.
