No one can deny that Tim Gunn has refined style for both men and women through his Bravo television show Project Runway and as a bestselling author. Tim began his career serving as a Chair for Parsons School of Design in New York; after which he joined Liz Claiborne Inc. as Chief Creative Officer. The now 57 year old serves as a mentor on the six time Emmy-nominated Project Runway where he offers fashion advice and a voice of reason to the contestants who compete to create the best designs in a short amount of time. His passion for fashion and mentoring has taken Tim to write A Guide to Quality, Taste, and Style and Gunn’s Golden Rule.
When not busy being a style expert, Tim gives a good deal of his time to charitable organizations, especially those associated with domestic violence, AIDS awareness and GLBT issues.
Tim will be making a San Diego appearance on September 24 at Fashion Valley and he is ready to share his expertise as he hosts a fall fashion show featuring Juicy Couture, Kate Spade New York and Lucky Brand. Guests will enjoy the latest looks for fall and get style tips. The event is free, but with a purchase of $150 or more from Juicy, Kate or Lucky you will be invited to meet Tim Gunn and receive special gifts.
