Founded in 1909, the University Club is ‘the’ private Club in downtown San Diego perched at the penthouse of Symphony Towers. Inspired by its one hundred-year heritage, the Club is dedicated to its future, expanding and reinventing the Clubhouse with a $2.4M renovation in October of 2010.
As the elevator doors open to the Club’s 34th floor penthouse you have literally arrived at the top. The floor-to-ceiling windows invite you to breathe in the beautiful panorama of the city, the best views in San Diego. Members have access to this spectacular clubhouse to choose from a variety of events such as wine dinners, business meetings, pre-Symphony drinks, Young Executive socials, movie nights, cooking classes, scotch tastings, black tie affairs, Monday Night Football and jazz nights.
This unique location is the perfect environment for both the casual and the sophisticated.
