The Luz Foundation of Tijuana, along with over 1,000 women from both sides of the border, dressed-up for Carnival Antifaz. Complete with a coronation for Carnival Queen, the event helped raise funds for the foundation’s City of Light house project for orphan adolescents offering technical career classes, arts center and specialists in emotional, spiritual and psychological growth. The women raise funds by creating costumes, organizing dance routines and getting the audience to dress in costume all to support the competing teams by getting sponsors and by selling tickets.
