Students, their families and caregivers, volunteers and the community came together to celebrate the season at the Braille Institute San Diego Summerfest 2015. A Kids Zone, arts & crafts expo, a resource fair and an awards ceremony were all part of annual BBQ. The yearly event is a great way to have the public engaged in the propositions of the Institute in helping San Diegans with visual impairments.
