An ensemble of San Diego’s philanthropic community helped start the night off at the USO San Diego’s 74th Stars & Stripes Gala. Supporters showed their support for military families at the Then & Now themed fundraiser as guests arrived in vintage elegant attire. The musical extravaganza included a performance by MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band and a musical tribute to all Armed Forces. All the night’s fun was held for the purpose of helping and supporting U.S. military personnel and their families through food programs, youth clinics, holiday programs and USO airport facilities providing a “home away from home” for service member in transit.
