For the last 75 years, USO San Diego has kept military service members in touch with the bonds of family and the comforts of home. The Stars and Stripes Gala, carrying the theme It Takes a City to Support our Military, was generously presented by Papa Doug and Geniya Manchester along George and Hélène Gould, along with many other sponsors. The celebration was a splendid night for supporters who helped raise $750,000 during the benefit at the Hotel del Coronado. This year’s gala honoree was Mayor Kevin Faulconer and the night also had in store former NFL player and Navy SEAL Clint Bruce as honored speaker and MusiCorps performing live.
