With 73 years of lifting spirits, USO San Diego’s Stars and Stripes Ball celebrated military personnel and their families at their Night of Military Heroes. The Marine Band San Diego opened the evening with the performance of the National Anthem followed by a performance by the Wounded Warrior Band whose musicians are all wounded warriors recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Guests enjoyed an auction, dinner and dancing until night’s end. The annual gala serves to gather funds for programs and services essential for soldiers and their families.
