San Ysidro Health Center.
San Ysidro Health Center recently hosted elected officials and civic leaders at a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community dedication commemorating the opening of its newest health center, the South Bay Family Health & Dental Center (SBFHDC) located at 330 East Eighth Street in National City. SBFHDC joins two other SYHC clinics in National City,Paradise Hills Family Paradise Hills Family Clinic and National City Family Clinic.
The South Bay Family & Dental Center has been designed around the concept of The Patient Centered Medical Home model of care, where the patient, not the support staff or provider, is the focus of all care and services. The clinic includes comprehensive medical and dental services and is expected to serve more than 8,300 patients from the National City. This is the first SYHC dental clinic in National City, and includes six fully equipped treatment rooms in order to provide the dental care the community needs.
SYHC is committed to providing excellent health services to our underserved communities. Through the expansion of their clinics and their service area they have been able to provide critical health services to over 90,000 patients a year. The impact of their programs and services means healthier individuals, families, employees and communities.
SYHC’s South Bay Family Health & Dental Center is open to the public and is accepting patients. For more information or to set up an appointment please call (619) 662-4100.
