Masis Arám Kevorkian was born in Holland and came to the States at a young and worked hard to achieve success, grow a beautiful family and the adoration of his friends and colleagues. Never overlooking the importance of his personal health, Masis is careful to balance work, pleasure and exercise. Here is a day in his life:
5:30 a.m. Wake-Up
Every morning, Mr. Kevorkian wakes up early to hug his kids, have coffee and read the newspaper. His ideal breakfast is a true Dutch breakfast which includes fresh wheat bread with butter, sliced cheese and a soft-boiled egg. Some days, he might not have time to sit down and eat, so instead he will eat a quick plate of eggs over medium, avocado toast, or even just a protein bar when heading to a meeting.
7:00 a.m. Exercise
Masis tends to work out before going into the office. His fitness routine consists of a variety of different exercises such as spin class, Pilates, yoga, swimming, running, or a circuit class. He believes that maintaining both physical and mental health is essential to your overall well-being.
8:00 a.m. Work
Mr. Kevorkian is the President of Elevation Entertainment Group and partner of Monarch Group. His days usually consist of meetings, calls, brainstorming sessions on how to improve the costumer experience, and discussing community engagement. The secret to his success is his relationships with the people. It is very important to him to always have a genuine connection. He always strives to treat everyone with the same level of respect. This philosophy, along with taking some risks, has allowed him to continue to advance in the business world. Working alongside passionate people who are genuinely good keeps him motivated as he is always learning from them as well.
12:00 p.m. Lunch
Masis follows the motto “everything in moderation”, so he generally tries to be healthy but enjoys indulgences in moderation. For example, his lunch consists of a bowl of soup then a salad with some protein.
4:00 p.m. After-Work Activities
At the end of the day, he always makes time for his family including driving his kids to sports practice. Around 6:30 p.m. they have dinner as a family, followed by him helping them with their homework or spending some quality time before they go to bed.
9:00 p.m. Sleep
Before going to sleep, he enjoys reading a book since reading before bed is good exercise for the mind. But first, he usually enjoys having a glass of wine while watching some Netflix with his wife. His day ends when he goes to sleep at 10 p.m.
